About Brownwood Housing Authority

The overall goal of the BHA program is to help improve the quality of life for public housing residents and empowering our residents to take charge of their lives and of their environment.

The needs of our residents drive the initatives we promote to ensure those living on our properties are not only safe, but they have a decent place to call home. These services will enable them to become economically independent and link the elderly and people with disabilities with the resources necessary to maintain their independence and age in place.

Brownwood Housing Authority (BHA) seeks to assist low-income families, including those who are elderly, disabled, or handicapped, with safe, decent, and affordable housing opportunities.
